About this place
Anyone walking through Higashi-Mukojima around midday will find the menu at Miyoshi Sushi an appealing, welcoming stop. Lunchtime options include omakase nigiri showcasing meticulous knife work, colorful kaisendon, sauce-marinated maguro zuke don, and maguro hikkaki don made with scraped tuna. Menu listings show each of these priced at 1,200 yen. Served with a bowl of soup, the generous portions of sushi provide satisfying midday dining that is easy to enjoy even when eating solo.
Evening dining introduces nigiri and chirashi sets spanning standard, superior, and premium grades, as well as an omakase course featuring appetizers, sashimi, chawanmushi, grilled items, and fried dishes. Savoring seasonal grilled fish and small plates alongside warmed or chilled Sawanotsuru sake, seasonal hirezake (finned sake), or a glass of Kirin Lager makes for an easygoing evening.
In addition to counter seating overlooking the chef at work, the restaurant features tatami seating; booking ahead is recommended when dining with family or close companions. Takeout is available, and cashless payments such as PayPay and Rakuten Pay are accepted. Excluding the regular Wednesday closure, the shop operates for lunch from 11:30 to 13:30 and dinner from 17:00 to 21:30.
